Video editing
Video editing is a part of the post production process of film making. As editing involves the selection and combining of shots into sequences. Also, it is an art of storytelling. We train students in actual edit studios with latest tools and techniques right from capturing the raw footage.
It is post production process which consists of editing segments of motion video production footage, special effects and sound recordings. In video editing all the undesired footage is removed and edited out some scene elements. It is mostly used to describe post-production work, where selecting the best shots and footage.
Students of Backstreets are educated from the fundamentals of video editing; they work with existing drama material from their own individual projects to learn the creative and artistic part of editing.
In addition, videography requires learning a huge number of skills. Each skill is easy to learn but the number of things you must learn is huge. If you want to be an independent film maker, you must learn the techniques about video editing.
The art of video editing is something you learn not only through practical or by doing it, but also by learning theory. That’s why we teach our students on the ground and practically under the experts.

- Classroom editing practical’s (the practice of editing using footage shot by professional directors, mentors, and students)

Career information:
The course focuses on the practical and aesthetics of Film & TV editing. At backstreets, the course is designed to teach the art and technique of Film and Video editing using the new technique. , so the students can work as Independent Editors or Assistant Editors in the Film industry.
